TeachingMY STUDENTS : GEORGIA
Pennsylvania | Hope Springs | Georgia | Illinois
This is Katie Patton and Pikasso. Katie has owned him since he was three days old and done a great job training him. They were competing 2nd level with plans of moving to 3rd the next upcoming show season. Katie was my demo rider for my certification as well as the organizer of the Georgia clinics. December 2003 Clinic I was in Georgia December 14 -15. The theme this clinic was improving the seat, complete with an un-mounted seat lesson on Saturday night. It was quite cold on Sat and unfortunately my photos came out quite small. I'll post more as the come available.
This is Meg Campell on Pixsie, a 14-year-old Hanovarian/quarter horse cross. Meg has been riding around two years. We worked on adding relaxation and suppleness to her position, and you can tell by Pixsie's soft expression that Meg has gotten the concept.
This is Betsy Lauricella on Ziggy, a 5-year-old Morgan she raised from a weanling. We backed him together two summers ago. She took a mounted seat lesson on Saturday, here she is loosing her lower back with some spinal twists.
This is Gayle on Tigger, an Arab-quarter horse cross. Tigger belongs to Jody Stage who had injured her knee prior to the clinic. Gayle stepped in on short notice on an unfamilliar horse, and it was her first ride with me. She got a nice impulsion level out of him here.
This is Katie on Pikasso. He is pretty new to the double bridle, and I am really happy with how he keeps is neck long and up in the additional hardware. |
